Spotlight: Shrimp Daddy in Smorgasburg Market of Downtown Los Angeles
An influential blogger by the name of June Quan (StirandStyle) and her team brewed up an innovative eatery called “Shrimp Daddy.” Their debut was this past Sunday, November 13th, at Smorgasburg Market in DTLA. Their booth was tucked between dozens of local vendors, but you could easily detect their aloha spirit. Their table was lined with Islander Raffia Grass Skirt, colorful flowers, and menus decorated with pineapples.
Shrimp Daddy’s specialty is Hawaiian Garlic Butter Shrimp that goes hand-in-hand with a scoop of mac salad, rice topped with Furikake (Japanese seasoning), cubes of fresh pineapple, and a cot of cabbage, all perched on a pineapple boat.
